Test your knowledge by answering 60 trivia questions (four rounds of 15) created by librarian and trivia host extraordinaire Kat Lewin. Recruit some teammates or play solo — the choice is yours! Be prepared to answer a hodgepodge of general knowledge trivia questions. That’s right, for just the second time in four years, we’re going theme-less, so buckle up! Have you ever learned something and said, “well, that’ll come in handy for trivia night someday?” It’s time. There is a 50-team limit. For Adults only. Recruit some teammates or play solo! Registration is required. Click here to register.

Author Sharon Kitchens will discuss her new book, “Stephen King’s Maine: A History & Guide.” Explore Maine locations that serve as the basis for Stephen King’s fictional towns of Castle Rock, Jerusalem’s Lot, Derry, and Haven. Drawing on historical materials and conversations with locals and people who know King, learn about the places that would become the settings for Carrie, Salem’s Lot, The Dead Zone, Cujo, IT, and 11/22/63. Sponsored by the Tewksbury Friends of the Library and Corning Community Impact & Investment. Register for this virtual program by clicking here

Thank you to the Tewksbury Public Library for inviting Lynn to participate in these virtual programs!

Movie Night Book Club

The Lynn Public Library’s Adult Circulation Department is proud to introduce our newest program, Movie Night Book Club.

This book club will meet once each month to discuss books that have been adapted into a movie. Interested patrons will be provided a copy of the book to read, as well as a copy of the movie to view. At the meeting, we will talk about the similarities, differences, what we liked/didn’t like, and more. Our next meeting will be MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th at 6:30PM. We’ll be reading/viewing A Game of Thrones (Season 1 and first book in ASOIAF series). Copies of the book and DVD are available now! If you are an adult patron (must be 18+) who is interested in participating in our Movie Night Book Club, please stop by the main desk to register and pick up your copies of the book and movie.
