The Children’s Department is located on the basement floor of the library. Here you will find children’s books (fiction, non-fiction, picture), DVD’s, CD’s, and computers for use by children only.

All children are eligible for a library card as soon as they are able to print their first and last names. A child’s application must be signed by a parent or legal guardian who shows proof of residency (driver’s license, utility bill etc.). If a child applies for a card without a parent or guardian, the library will mail the application home to be signed by the responsible adult.
