The Friends of the Lynn Public Library’s next Annual Meeting will be Saturday, April 27th at 10:30am, here in the library’s Non-Fiction room.

Who are the Friends?

The Friends of the Lynn Public Library is a non-profit organization formed in 1982 to help preserve and strengthen the Lynn Public Library and to create awareness and appreciation of the many and varied services offered by this registered historic institution.

What do the Friends do?

Educational and cultural programs for adults, young adults and children, equipment purchases, and fundraising to supplement the Library’s municipal budget are among the activities sponsored by the Friends of the Lynn Public Library. There are many benefits of being a Friend, including regular announcements about Friends’ initiatives and library programming and services funded by the Friends.

If you would like to join the Friends, please visit the Lynn Public Library and complete a membership form, or click here to print a form at home. Annual membership fees are $5 for an individual, $10 for a family, but larger donations are accepted. Please make checks payable to the Friends of the Lynn Public Library. Membership fees and completed forms can be dropped off or mailed to the Lynn Public Library at 5 N. Common St. in Lynn.
