Mini Art Show Submissions

Share your artistic talent by participating in the Lynn Public Library Mini Art Show. Lynn Residents ages 7-Adult can pick up a mini canvas at the main desk between March 10th-22nd. In honor of our 125th Anniversary and National Library Week, we ask your art be inspired by what the library means to you. One canvas per person. Complete guidelines will be included when picking up your canvas. Your canvas must be returned by April 1st. Members of the community will vote on their favorite and one participant from each age group; Children, Teen, & Adult will win a $25 Michael’s gift card.

Mini Art Show Guidelines

To enter, Lynn residents ages 7-Adult visit the main desk and pick up a 5×5 canvas March 10-22, 2025. We will have a limited number of watercolor paints to give with each canvas if requested, while supplies last. One canvas/entry per person. Canvas are available on a first come, first serve basis. Our theme for the show is “What does the Library mean to you?” Only physical entries on the 5×5 canvas’ distributed by the Lynn Public Library will be accepted. All canvases must be the original work of the artist. We ask that the art submitted be appropriate for all ages. Library staff will have discretion on what is featured. All submissions and entry forms must be returned to the Main Desk by April 1, 2025. Submissions cannot be accepted after April 1, 2025.

Entries will be put on display from April 3-11, 2025 for our 125th Anniversary and the Mini Art Show on Wednesday April 9, 2025 at 6:30pm. Members of the community will vote on their favorite from each age group; Children, Teen, and Adult. Voting will take place in person at the Library. A winner from each age group will win a $25 Michaels gift card. Winners will be contacted after the Mini Art Show via email or phone. We will also announce the winning entries on our social media pages. By entering the contest, entrants consent to the sharing of images of their entry (i.e. posting on our social media pages and website) by the Lynn Public Library for use as it relates to this program.

Finished entries must be picked up at the Main Desk April 17- May 3, 2025. Entries not picked up by then will be discarded. The Lynn Public Library is not responsible for any lost, misdirected, or delayed entries.
